I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at UMFCD in 1995. I have therefore been a doctor for 30 years. I have always been and I declare myself a clinician for whom patient care is the main professional goal. However, I have always known that theoretical aspects are essential, which is why I pursued an academic career where I found the examples for my professional development.

From the beginning of my career, I planned to develop expertise in several dental fields to acquire a multidisciplinary perspective for the benefit of my patients. I am an advocate of interdisciplinarity, which harmonizes knowledge to solve complex clinical cases.

Starting from the field of "Dental Prosthetics" (often called the queen of dentistry), I obtained competency, specialization, and senior physician status in other domains. This was a period of intense training, participation in postgraduate courses, and also writing scientific papers.

Orthodontics is a field I began practicing with the start of my residency (1996), and after obtaining my specialization and senior physician title, a course I attended in the U.S.A. in 2002 calibrated my subsequent activity.

Having witnessed the development of dental implantology in Romania (as part of the first generation to benefit from a university course in 1994), I began to focus intensely on this field starting in 2003 (with Prof. G. Corrente, postgraduate coordinator at Boston University, and R. Abundo/Torino).

After obtaining my competency in implantology, I worked intensively, treating many patients and placing thousands of dental implants. After gaining substantial experience, I delivered numerous presentations and conferences in the field. I promoted the development of implantology in Romania through a series of courses and conferences and also became a teaching staff member in the discipline of Oral Implantology.

My scientific activity materialized in a list of authored and published papers, as well as in the conferences and courses held for doctors at various scientific events.
